As India has many reasons to be proud of after the successful launch of her first unmanned mission to the moon Chandrayaan-1, so also the family of Khusboo Mirza in particular and the people of Amroha in general. She is a part of the mission.
INDIA HAS many reasons to smile over its ambitious ’Mission Chandrayaan’ and so have the people of Amroha. A local girl is playing an important role in the overall success of India’s most acclaimed and admired mission to space.
Khusboo Mirza, an engineering graduate from Aligarh Muslim University, hails from Amroha. She is currently head in-charge, checkout, with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Born on July 25, 1985 in the family of Er Sikander Mirza, Khusboo is the eldest daughter. She was a good sportsperson in her school days and she also represented Uttar Pradesh in volleyball. She got admitted to AMU in sports quota and passed her +2 in 1996. She was one among the meritorious students and got selected for the course B tech. Her first assignment was with Accenture and later she moved to ISRO after the completion of her graduation in electronic. With ISRO she continued to scale the heights she had dreamt of. Now she is leading the team for the checkout process and will continue to monitor the mission till the end. For her classmates in Krishna Bal Mandir, Khusboo was very decent and good in her studies. Although of a reserved nature, she had a good group in her school, say Kshama Trivedi, her principal.
“She has made us all proud and we pray for her bright future,” said Veena, one of her classmates. Meanwhile, a yajna was performed in the premises of KBM School Amroha, for the success of Mission Chandrayaan and the dignitaries and the students from the locality attended the yajna.
.It's great news that AMU Alumnus are reaching hieghts and are contributing in every way for the development of their country. I'm not sure if Ms. Khusboo has worked with Accenture or not but she has definitely worked with Adobe Systems in Noida after completing her graduation course.
