Finally, as you step out into the ultimate world you see that the world is not a perfect place either. Uneven roads, cramped living, poverty, pollution, inflation, corrupt politicians, real estate bubbles and corruption. This all makes you feel for a change.
After abusing people you met, or spoke to, or thought of during the day including yourself, sleep becomes a delusional dream. However, "I need some change! For Gods Sake" you say to God! If you sit down and analyse this, you'll realise what maturity is really about.
Maturity? Here? How? Lets see if we can find it out.
Let’s imagine ourselves as Gandhiji! We wake up, way before independence, when not so many recognize us. You look at the mirror and see a man who wants to change things. If you can or cannot does not matter, as your mind believes you can. You say I am Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and I will do this to my country. You see the people who betrayed your country and your hands are tied, you sees blood as people fight and your hands are tied, you see the high and mighty British empire where people comment on your skin colour and your hands are tied.
Your skin colour is a natural process, it’s mostly because of the climatic conditions you shout in your head but no one hears. You want a change and what do you do? You see people following untouchability, you disapprove, but you cannot disagree that it’s a prevalent system. You simple believe your Karma does not allow you to do it. So you touch them. As simple as that. People give you weird looks, you smile. People revolt you smile. Because all along your mind says, I am correct. I am the change.
So, now return to being you, yourself. You wake up, you see the mirror and you see the most stunningly exquisite masterpiece hand made by God/Nature and you say, "Damn, I am good". Of course you have no other choice, if God has created you and you feel your defective then there is nothing called perfection. If you defy the ultimate then what is left?
You appreciate; you feel the change.
As people try to rub their sorry self on to you trying to change hands of their sour moods you start off by sympathising, ignoring them next and finally smiling. You need to realize that they don't realise what they are doing. Forgive people for their silliness. They backbite, they choose that Karma, you don't tell God he started to backbite so did I. Think about it.
Kabir says in his doha "Jiski Jitni Hoth Hai Uthni Daeth Bataye Bura na Mano Kabira Aur kahan Se Laaye re Bhaaiye" (People can offer only so much as they have, please don't feel bad oh dear brother where else do they get it from).
Be happy seeing the sunrise, be happy seeing the moon glow. Be happy for no reason at all. Because, if you are thinking of the past moments this minute, you are insulting the past minute.
Live Life, Love Life.
