Chautala blames Randhir Singh for IOA's suspension
The blame game has started after IOA's suspension by the International Olympic Committee, and the first finger has been pointed towards former secretary general of IOA, Randhir Singh by President-elect, Abhay Chautala.

THE INTERNATIONAL Olympic Committee took a strong stance against the Indian Olympic Association for government interference in its election, resulting to its suspension. Though people are blaming many for one of the most embarrassing episodes in Indian Olympic history, Abhay Chautala , President-elect IOA points his finger at Randhir Singh, former Secretary General of IOA.

The President-elect said, in this NNIS video that the investigation against the IOA irrespective of who does it – International Olympic Committee or the Commonwealth, the biggest responsibility was Randhir Singh's, where he should have gone and told them that everything is running smoothly in the country.

As it seems that Randhir Singh kept his ground as things were going as the way he wanted, which would also help him win the elections, Chauthala said, “He did not talk about IOC or anything else, as he had the numbers to win the election, but when his numbers began to decrease he started talking about IOC stating if the election was not going to be postponed then IOC would ban the organisation.” But, at last, as it turned out, it was lose-lose situation for Randhir Singh, as it is expected that the IOA executive board will pass a resolution today, which would demand his withdrawal from IOC as well.

If, it is proved that Randhir Singh was the main protagonist behind the suspension of the IOA, he should not only be thrown out of the body, but strict action should be taken against the person, as he has brought a bad name not only to the organisation but to the country as well.
