Cheese burger not enough, US fast food joints offering beer
According to latest reports Sonic and Burger Kings joints in the US are trying to compete with casual dining by serving beer and wine with burgers and French fries in these outlets. Either Americans..
AMERICA IS known for its fast food chains, hotdog centres and all the various internationally known fast food brands. As we all know, Americans are the true pioneers of fast food and people binge on it in America. But recently, a shift in the fast food industry has been seen that has forced fast food outlets and companies to offer alcohol with burgers and pizzas. Food marketing analysts says that introduction of alcohol is necessary for competing with casual dining.

If you are in Las Vegas or Miami, you can order a cheese burger with a chilled tall Fosters bottle owing to the new Sonic joints, which has decided to serve beer and wine with their meals. Recently, Burger King also opened up a bar with their fast food chain named Whopper Bars in Miami. These fast food chains are taking to alcohol so that they would be able to compete with casual dining.

When asked, Ron Paul, a president at Technomic, a restaurant consulting firm said that alcohol is the perfect way to speed up the slow evening business. He also added, “For consumers, it's basically about having it your way — even if it's having a beer with your burger.”

Alcohol would certainly increase drunk driving; minor drinking as well as the number of accidents in the place will also increase. In their defence, outlets offering alcohol with fast food say that they are not serving to customers with vehicles but the number of drinks is not limited, which means that a person can have as many drinks as he wants. However, the world is yet to catch up with this bar fast food kind of restaurants, and hopefully this would not culminate into something of a world fashion. The latest trend is extremely hazardous and proper care should be taken when they are having a beer with their French fries.
