In the Champion League T20 Cricket 2011, none of Chennai Super Kings batsman has gone past 50 runs apart from Michael Hussey. However, the team has many match winners in the squad including Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Michael Hussey, Suresh Raina, Dwayne Bravo, Albie Morkel, Doug Bollinger, and R. Ashwin. They have the calibre to set an impossible target for the opponent, whereas the bowlers can take quick wickets and win the game by a huge margin.
In the do-or-die match for the CSK in the Champion League Cricket T20 2011, Dhoni should ask Ashwin to start bowling with the new ball because NSW openers Shane Watson and David Warner have not showed their skill till yet against slow bowling. Dhoni can also use Suresh Raina as an opener with Hussey because NSW bowling has been steady and economical in the tournament and he should come at the no. 1 slot.
