The schools in Chhattisgarh will observe 'Matri-Pitra Pujan Divas' on February 14 in continuation with Chief Minister Raman Singh's standing orders passed last year.
The state education department of Chhattisgarh has directed all government and private schools under its jurisdiction to celebrate the Parents' Worship Day every year. Under the observance of the event, school students of the state are required to perform a prescribed worship of their parents in the school premises as per a detailed circular issued in this regard.
