The St. Patrick's day 2010 is here. Chicago is all geared up to celebrate the St. Patrick's day parade. There will be a number of celebrations but Chicago St. Patrick's day parade tops the list. Saturday birngs the luck of the Irish to Chicago with the Downtown St. Patrick's Day Parade.
The Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade can be watched on ABC channel 7 on March 14, at 11am. But before that the traditional dyeing of the Chicago river will take plave at 10:45am. The best place to see the dyeing of the river is the intersection of Michigan Ave. and Wacker Drive at the river. Kerry Ann Brennan 24 of Orland park will be the Parade Queen this year. Bob Ryan will be the Marshal this year, He has been announcing the parade for more than 20 years. The Parade always occurs on a Saturday. Also if Saint Patrick's Day does not fall on a Saturday, the parade takes place the Saturday before. Lastly the parade always steps off at noon.
