Chidambaram meets political leaders to discuss Telangana issue
The entire nation is curious to know the substance of Telangana talks on Tuesday (January 5). Chidambaram is meeting the leaders of eight political parties at the Chambers of Home Ministry to further discuss the issue of Telangana.
TELANGANA PEOPLE are keeping an eye on Chidambaram’s meeting with eight political party leaders to discuss the Telangana issue on Tuesday (January 5) at the Chambers of Home Ministry.
A big chunk of leaders of Andhra and Telangana belonging to eight political parties have reached Delhi besides the official representatives of the invited parties.
After some changes, former minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and Revuri Prakasah Reddy of Telugu Desam Party are participating the meeting. Likewise, the Congress deputed Eluru MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao and Uttam kumar Reddy, MLA and chairman of 610 G.O Implementation Committee.
Bharatiya Janata Party is joining the meeting with its state president Bandaru Dattatreya, who was a minister of state for railways in Vajpayee government along with K Haribabu, the former MLA. Prajarajyam Party is representing with its Chief Chiranjeevi and former MP C Ramachandraiah. CPI is participating with its state secretary Dr Narayana and floor leader Mallesam.
CPM is participating with its state secretary Raghavulu and party's lone MLA in the assembly Julakanti Ranga Reddy. Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) Party is attending the meeting with its lone MP Assaudin Owaisi and his brother and also floor leader of the assembly Akbaruddin. Telangana Rashtra Samithi is ready to discuss the issue with its President KCR and his mentor Jayasankar.
Chief Minister Rosaiah will attend the meeting but as a mute spectator. He came to Delhi on Monday and had a hectic schedule. He met all the ministers concerned to this meeting including the party in-charge of state Verappa Moily. Prime Minister also spent quite a long time with the leaders of Andhra.
All parties have exercised a lot on the issue to discuss with Chidambaram but problem is that the main parties have sent their two membered delegation belonging to Telangana and Andhra regions.
All Telugu channels are trying to cover the meeting live sending their correspondents in addition to its Delhi representatives. Even the national media is exhibiting its enthusiasm towards this meeting.
