Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sacks his minister Asim Khan for allegedly taking bribe
Delhi government's Food and Civil Supplies Minister, Asim Ahmed Khan was sacked today by Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal after corruption charges surfaced against him.
Arvind Kejriwal while addressing the press on the issue said that his party won't tolerate corruption and corrupts at any cost. Releasing an audio tape in which Matia Mahal MLA Asim Khan could be heard allegedly demanding bribery from a builder, Kejriwal said that the matter had been referred to to CBI for further investigation.

The audio sting was conducted by none other than the builder himself. Reportedly Asim Khan is accused of taking a bribe of Rs 6 lakh, from the builder.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said that BJP and the Congress should follow its path and take action against corrupt politicians within their party. CM Kejriwal took the names MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje and asked BJP to take action against them.

After the sacking of Asim Khan, Arvind Kejriwal-led government has announced the name of Ballimaran MLA Imran Hussain as the new Food and Civil Supplies Minister.
