For driving under the influence of alcohol, the actor was booked at around 3.15 am. He was later released without bail. Patrick Kimball, an officer CHP said that Klein was booked and released on his own recognizance.

ACTOR CHRIS Klein, well known for his role in American Pie, was arrested early in the morning in Los Angeles. He was accused of drunken driving. According to the authorities, Chris was spotted weaving across lanes on a California freeway.

The news release by California Highway Patrol stated that the 31 year old American Pie and Election star was pulled over early Wednesday in the San Fernando Valley after being spotted weaving across lanes on the westbound Hollywood Freeway. He was spotted in his black Chevrolet Blazer.
