TENNESSEE TITANS backup quarterback Chris Simms has been arrested in New York City on charges of driving under influence of drugs, according to police.
Police said Simms, 29, was smoking marijuana after they stopped him in Manhattan at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday. They said his eyes were red and his speech slurred.Simms, who spent last season with the Denver Broncos, was awaiting indictment in Manhattan criminal court. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
