Christmas cakes in the honour of Peshawar victims
People buy cakes to celebrate happy anniversaries be it birth or marriage. But what about a bakery that is making cakes to pay tributes to victims, who lost their lives in tragic incidents like of deadly Peshawar attack, which forced the entire world into the state of mourning.
In West Bengal's Siliguri district there is a bakery which is known for its famous cakes. The bakery owner Chitranjan Das this time decided to make Christmas cakes to commemorate the victims of terrorist attack on a military school in Pakistan's Peshawar.

"We baked Peshawar theme-based cakes to commemorate the victims with a message, the smallest coffins are the heaviest," said Das as reported by ANI. Das took this initiative out of a responsibility to spread message of peace around the world. He wanted to tell people that they should not forget such unfortunate victims during festivities like Christmas.

A gun with a dove on top can be seen on the Peshawar attack-themed cake covered in white icing. The presence of dove symbolises peace. Terrorist attack on the Peshawar school left 148 people, including 132 students dead.

The bakery had also made cakes to condole the death of Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes, who died recently after being hit by a bouncer.
