THE CENTRAL Investigation Department (CID) of Gujarat has issued a clean chit to the Sant Asaramji Ashram. The CID was probing into the allegation of black magic being performed in the Ashram.
The report was prepared by the investigating officer P M Parmar (deputy superintendent of police), after a meticulous and thorough investigation. The report said that places (in the ashram) were thoroughly searched and photographed as well as videography was done during the visit, but no material suggesting practice of black magic has been found. The report further said that the statements of students and sadhaks were recorded in detail and the police visited cellars in the Ashram below the sadhak’s office, Annapurna Hall rooms, rooms of Maun Mandir behind the kitchen, cellars of Lilasa Bhavan and Jai Mandir.
This inference drawn by the CID is a huge breakthrough and assumes immense importance in the judicial proceedings. This will definitely help in bringing to light the baseless allegations and malicious conspiracy against the Ashram eventually.
