Clashes in Bihar Assembly are followed by further agitation
The opposition members, who staged a five day long dharna in both houses demanding a CBI probe into the alleged illegal mining in the state.
EIGHTY MEMBERS members from the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal staged an agitation demaning the resignation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi in the wake of inquiry ordered by the Patna High Court from the CBI to probe into the irregularties to the tune of Rs 11,412 crores.
On the ongoing agitation, RJD's deputy leader in the Assembly Shakeel Ahmad Khan said that the party will not withdraw its agitation until the “corrupt” government resigns. He also alleged that the agitating members were also not provided dinner and breakfast. Adding to this, he further said, “ It reflects that the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has lost his mental balance following his involvement in the scandal and is desperately trying to gag the opposition”. Fourteen MLC's were suspended yesterday following the ruckus that they had created in the house after the BJP-JD(U) resignation asked by the Opposition. The CAG report had highlighted irregularities worth Rs 11,412 crore that was meant for the development and welfare scheme between 2002-03 and 2007-08.
So bihar again comes into lime light. lalu made fodder scam and now nitish makes NAREGA scam. A jewel state. The same MLC who allowed fodder scam are now behaving hostile breaking pots etc to draw media attention was at one time silent. This means what? Last time got share this time did not get anything. So show your displeasure. As a common man what we should do? Ask for president rule till nitish and lalu are alive. It will be good fro the state. Whoever sits on lanka is becoming Ravana.
