Class 7 student hung from ceiling by teacher in UP for writing his name on book issued by school
In a cruel incident of meting out rigid punishment, a rouge teacher in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh hung one of his pupils, a class 7 student from the ceiling as punishment for writing his name on a book issued by the school.

The student, Sunil Kumar, is the son of Rajkumar Patel, who works as a labourer in the fields. Sunil had been issued a book by the school on which he wrote his name. Seeing the child's name on the book enraged the school's head master Narendra Kumar Singh.

The incident occurred on Monday, after which an angry crowd protested outside the school. The accused teacher fled after the incident. At least 12 students were reportedly present inside the school at the time of the incident. The other students were terrified with the magnitude of punishment given the Sunil for merely writing his name on a book.

As per reports, the teacher had borrowed 50 books from a seller on commission basis. These books were distributed among all the students including Sunil. However, when Sunil returned the book, the teacher saw that he had written his name on the label of the book. As a result, the teacher in a fit of rage hung him from the ceiling of the class with the help of a red cloth, which left other students shocked.
