Hillary Clinton will reach Mumbai on July 17 and is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, foreign minister SM Krishna, senior government officials and industry leaders during her five-day visit.
TO DISCUSS the structure and elements of an enhanced US-India strategic partnership will be top on the agenda of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who will be on a five-day visit to India beginning Friday (July 17).
A US State departments spokesman said that the visit is aimed to advance solutions to the defining challenges of the present time and to enhance global prosperity and stability in the 21st century.
Clinton will reach Mumbai on July 17 and is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, foreign minister SM Krishna, senior government officials and industry leaders during her five-day visit.
Clinton will stay in Mumbai for two days and meet members of business and society. She will also pay homage to the victims of Mumbai terror attack on November 26.
The US secretary of state will reach Delhi on July 19, said the state department spokesman, adding that Clinton will not visit Pakistan or Afghanistan during her India trip.
