Code Red rally in Washington against Health Care Bill
Code Red rally being organized by the American Grassroots Coalition and the Tea Party Express at Capitol Hill, Taft Park, Washington D.C. on Tuesday morning to protest the $875 billion health care bill.

THE CODE Red rally being organized by the American Grassroots Coalition and the Tea Party Express, with help from other organizations including The Doctor-Patient Medical Association, Tea partiers, Republicans at Capitol Hill, Taft Park, Washington DC on Tuesday morning to protest the $875 billion health care bill.


Code Red is busing in thousands of citizens who oppose the healthcare overhaul that President Barack Obama and Democratic Party leaders are trying to push through Congress. Smaller rallies are occurring in Congressional districts across the country.

Rep. Michele Bachmann called for the Tea Partiers to ‘stand their ground until Sunday’ with the crowd chanting ‘Kill the Bill' in the background, Bachmann said, they came back to the bubble dome and forgot about you. But, you’re still here.

This Code rally is being organized by the more establishment side of the tea party movement. The rally, dubbed the "Code Red Health Care Rally," featured a host of Republican speakers, including Reps. Mike Pence, R-Ind.; Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.; Tom Price, R-Georgia; and Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn.
