The show has recorded a GRP of 325 for the first time since its launch in 2008. Colors in the only channel that has crossed the mark in the past 59 weeks. Star Plus being 323, Zee TV at 281, Sony at 142, Imagine 141 and STAR One 100, said a press statement given by Colors.

The show has been shot in Cape Town this year, filed with adventure and dangerous competitions to find that one winner who can survive through all the tasks. The show has 13 celebrities like Shweta Salve, Rosa Catalano, Carol Gracias, Sushma Reddy, VJ Anushka Manchanda, Bruna Abdullah and Nauheed Cyrusi, who are competing with each other for prize money of Rs 5 million and each contestant has a male partner.

In spite of the raving success of the show, it is still Balika vadhu that tops the TRP chart with a TRP of 5.35. The show has managed to beat shows like Bidaai and Yeh Rishta kya kehlata hain on Star Plus.

The two popular reality shows on Colors are inspired from international versions. While Khatron ke Khiladi is the Indian version of Fear Factor, Big Boss is the Indian version of Celebrity Big Brother.
