Columbia Asia Hospital Whitefield provides BLS training to 45 policemen
Columbia Asia Hospital in Whitefield, Bengaluru initiated a 'Basic Life Support Training' for 45 policemen from 7 different police stations.

The training was held at the hospital by Dr Pradeep, who focused on training the policemen by giving them an opportunity to perform the procedures. These training sessions will help the policemen to timely intervene and administer first aid to the victims.

In tackling certain situations like cardiac arrest, choking and drowning 'Basic Life Support Training' comes in handy.

"BLS training is very essential these days, amongst all the traffic odds to reach the hospital if one knows BLS then it could help in saving a life. Treatment on the spot is more precious than anything else. This would be very beneficial for the policemen as they witness many such cases during duty and such training will be an add-on to their skills," says Dr Pradeep N, Consultant Emergency Medicine, Columbia Asia Hospital – Whitefield.
