Comedy Nights with Kapil to go off air
Popular comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil will go off air in September, but the show will return with everything new. Kapil Sharma, the host and producer of the show shared the information about bringing the curtains down of the show through a tweet.

Lately there were reports about Kapil planning to do the show once a week instead of twice, as he would be busy in shooting for Yash Raj films 'Bank Chor'. However, the channel on which the show was being telecast has refused his request. It has also been said that his contract with Colors TV has expired and Kapil Sharma has now decided to concentrate on his films instead of continuing with the show.

This Indian Comedy show has premiered on Colors TV on June 22, 2013. When the show started no one expected it to reach the kind of insane popularity that it did. It has become every star’s favorite stage to promote his or her films.

After the conclusion of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, this show has become India's highest rated serial in the non-fiction category. Kapil Sharma was also awarded with the Entertainer of the Year award for 2013 at CNN-IBN Indian of the year award ceremony.
