Commit to concrete actions to advance 'Health for All': WHO
Coordinated by the WHO, the World Health Day on April 7 to 'mobilize high-level attention and amplify the movement to accelerate progress towards universal health Coverage (UHC)' this year with a focus on "Universal health coverage: everyone, everywhere".

The theme is meant to ensure that everyone, everywhere can access essential quality health services without facing financial hardship, states the WHO.

According to the WHO, the observance this year falls on day of its completion of 70 years and is 'a unique opportunity for UHC2030 partners to engage in mobilizing high-level attention and amplify the movement to accelerate progress towards universal health coverage (UHC).

WHO has urged, "Making and sustaining progress towards UHC requires strong and sustained political commitment. Throughout this 70th anniversary year, WHO is calling on world leaders to live up to the pledges they made when they agreed the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015 and to commit to concrete actions to advance #HealthForAll."
