Commonwealth Awards organizers to display submissions at conferences and events around the world
The Commonwealth Association of Science, Technology and Mathematics Association (CASTME) and Findel International Education Resources have decided the reserve the right to publish entries in part or full and proudly display projects at conferences and events around the world.

For the year 2018, the entry of Dr Lalit Kishore who is associated with Jaipur based NGOs, Disha and CULP, won the top honours for his entry on language of mathematics.

"The decision of the organizers to retain the submissions is appropriate to disseminate and highlight CASTME educational projects from across the world which address the social or human context of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)," opined the Prabha Awathi Kishore of Jaipur who was commended for an earlier entry in the CASTME award scheme.

There are mentions about the display of Dr. Kishore's submissions at the conferences of the Association of Science Education and his invitation to a Commonwealth Conference in Malaysia a few years ago.

The award scheme, established in 1974, aims at sharing best practice across the STEM disciplines and to demonstrate the importance of STEM to local environments, schools and communities.

"Awards are offered for educational projects, which address the social or human context of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Any group or individual involved in any form of education in the widest senses, formal or informal, within societies can enter including pre-school, Primary or Secondary. Additionally, Tertiary education projects can be entered from school, college, university or from communities," informs CASTME adding that there are three awards available, all provided by Findel International Education Resources.
