Communication skills are a must for personality development
All the speakers at the conference emphasised on personality development skills that can be achieved with right communication skills. The speakers including the journalists and academicians suggested that students should attend more such conferences for a bright future.

DESH BHAGAT Institute of Professional Studies hosted a one day conference with the collaboration of Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar on the subject "Communication Skills". Rakesh Chaudhary, Public Relations Officer of Desh Bhagat Group briefed media persons about the events.


On the occasion Ms. Navjot Kaur Rajiyal, Sub Editor, The Times of India was the guest of honour. She spoke on personality development and body language and their co-relation with verbal skills so as to have an impressive personality. She emphasized the status of women and stated that in these modern times women are not behind men in any field and have proven their ability in all fields like politics, industry, etc. They have achieved all this on the basis of their personality development skills.


The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Shalini Gupta (Director General) Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes. She stated that Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes holds these types of conferences from time to time for honing the communication skills of its students. She advised the students to improve their communication skills along with their studies so as to become able administrators.


About 160 students from the streams of BBA, MBA & B.Com professional attended the conference.


The Chairman of Desh Bhagat Group Dr. Zora Singh and the Vice Chairperson Smt. Tajinder Kaur in their address to the students emphasized the importance of communication skills for the students in the modern world. The students should attend more such types of conferences for a bright future, they advised.
