The term modem is formed from two words ‘modulation’ and demodulation.
Modulation makes the data in coded form and demodulation makes the coded data in to its original form, in other words, sending data from source to destination. This system is called Alternating Source System . TCP/IP are the different protocols used to transfer data from source to destination.
