Concrete plan of action for rain harvesting needed
The agricultural economy of India needs a change in the financial year to agricultural year (July 01 - June 30) from April 01 - March 31 (a ritual day to waste the resources in the name of target oriented approach ) with a concrete plan of action for ‘rain harvesting’ which is capable of taking care of the problems of floods, water logging, droughts and declining water table in all times to come.
To improve the financial situation and bring efficiency,
sufficiency and equity in Indian economy, there is a strong case for
suitable pricing for birth, death and marriage certificates which can
be used for human resource development activities including
education, health, environment, tourism and above all food security.
Keeping in view the internal threats including crime, suicide by
the farmers and unemployed youth-the cause of causes for terrorism of
various kinds, India
needs a separate budget on defence like
railways. Let it become the agenda of a new Government after 2014
This is necessary and sufficient to win the confidence of
the people who deserve national security justifying appropriate
defence expenditure which is an engine of economic growth.
The slogan “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’ has merit for bringing barren
land under cultivation for enhancing agriculture production for
implementing National Food Security (NFSA) Act 2013. Let us develop
military farms in a big manner for the great cause. It is perfectly
in tune with the vision of Bharat Ratan Dr. B.R. Ambedkar for
acquiring land for nationalization of agriculture.
