BJP's senior leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has said that Congress itself is confused about the Telangana issue. Naqvi added that few members in Congress are for the division of the state and few of them are against. He also said that the way congress is handling the situation, it is not helping the same, but is further deteriorating it.
“The Telangana issue has brought in focus many questions. On one side the Congress party is saying that it will not get back from its present stand on Telangana. And on the other hand, the party MPs and MLAs are saying that they won't let the government to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh,” said Naqvi to ANI.
He added, “Now the question is which Congress party is right? The Congress party whose government has declared Telangana as a separate state after so many agitations. Or the Congress party, who is ruling Andhra Pradesh right now. The issue is jumbled up, and Congress plays a big role in all these agitations happening in Andhra Pradesh”.
Now all the eyes are on GoM meeting which will be held tomorrow pn the issue of Telangana. Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, has said that all points will be taken into consideration and justice will be done to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
