Congress won't win even after TRS merger in Telangana
High profile deliberations are going on in Delhi regarding the Telangana issue. More than anything, the merger of TRS with the Congress Party is being discussed on priority basis. It is being reported that UPA chief Sonia Gandhi has made up her mind on the division of Andhra and formation of Telangana state.

NOBODY KNOWS what K. Chandrasekhara Rao has been discussing with Congress leaders for past few days in Delhi. Congress leaders say that they were not talking with Rao regarding the merger of TRS (Telangana Rastra Samithi) with Congress.

Whether or not Congress and TRS leaders deny that they are not interested in merger politics but one thing is correct - both are interested in merger politics and both will go for merger of their parties at the cost of Telegu people.

Congress had used so many experiments to nullify Jagan and his political party. But it has so far failed. The last resort is to save Congress party, at least in Telangana area. For this the Congress party is prepared to divide Andhra Pradesh into two divisions.

Let us think the Congress has forgotten about Andhra people, as they wouldn’t vote for Congress in the 2014 general elections. Can Congress say that Telangana people will vote for them if they merge TRS with them?

According to a survey, even TRS merged with Congress will not get through. Already in Telangana, KRS’ image is being weakened and TRS is loosing ground very fast. It was evident in Parkal of Warangal district where TRS had won the game over Jagan Congress with only 1550 votes. TRS had to wait for its win till the last round of counting. At first what the TRS had told that Jagan Congress Party was not at all a competition and it would lose the deposit.

Seeing his falling image, the TRS president is now willing to merge with Congress to rise again but it is impossible. If that was the case Congress may loose in Andhra and Telangana as well.

Already MIM party President Asavuddin Owaisi is in touch with Vijayamma, the Honorary President of YSR Congress (Jagan) party and recently he had said that there was no question of separate Telangana. In view of that Owaisi may ally with TSR Jagan if TRS merges with Congress. In fact TRS doesn’t have good relations with MIM and from the beginning TRS was feeling that MIM was the Shikhandi (a strong wall) for them to get separate Telangana state.

Andhra and Rayalaseema leaders are preparing to meet the eventualities if TRS is merged with the Congress and separate Telangana has to become a reality. Whatever it is Andhra leaders are not ok for loosing Hyderabad, which was developed as a global city because of their investments. They developed the Hyderabad at the cost of Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
