Consumption of beef: A diet of politics
The PM had earlier denounced "fake" cow protectors. It is well known secret that the institutions of 'Gau Rakshaks' are set up by the RSS or the VHP many decades ago. And since the BJP attained power at the Centre and in many states these gau rakshaks have become emboldened. The bad ones among them, as the RSS would like us to believe, are running amok thinking that they enjoy government protection. The police is undoubtedly reluctant in several cases, to act, against these ruffians unless they get a green signal from their political bosses.

The nation is yet to recover from Olympic Shock with Only Three Medals-No Gold. To suggest an improvement, yesterday, Udit Raj came with a sport demarche for the sportsmen and all the undernourished - sport aspirant youth of the country as well:

"Usain Bolt of Jamaica was poor and trainer advised him to eat beef both the times and he scored 9 gold medals in Olympics," the Lok Sabha member from North West Delhi tweeted.

People au fait with the RSS tactics are not surprised. The NDA government follows the philosophy of the RSS. It allows beef consumption in Goa and other state including the heavy exports while in other states the law enforcement turns rigid. The sacred norms change from state to state and situation to situation.

On the political front, when they want to show the liberal face, they put up a secular mask and go for Gandhi and Patel. They go for Savarkar and Golwalkar when reveal their regular, popular and real face. The history has recorded that MS Golwalkar, the RSS chief between 1940 and 1973, was the brain behind the cow protection movement in the 1960s.

In that period, Golwalkar tried to became friends with Mr. Verghese Kurien, known as the 'Milkman of India'. Kurien opposed the ban on cow slaughter for economic reasons. "It was important for us in the dairy business to keep weeding out the unhealthy cows so that available resources could be utilized for healthy and productive cattle. I was prepared to go as far as to allow that no useful cow should be …," Kurian wrote in his autobiography.

Now elections are nearing in UP and other states where Dalit votes really matters. The Dead-Cow Disposal Business (DCDB) is historically connected with Dalits. It is not a Muslim commerce. So the old double speak - a political camouflage is created with the help of Udit Raj. He is from a Khatik family. He has served as Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax in the year 1990. He was transferred to Delhi in 1995, where he served at the reputed posts of Deputy Commissioner, Joint Commissioner and Additional Commissioner of Income Tax.

Raj has a checkered past. He has formed Indian Justice Party (IJP) in 2003 and the 'All India Confederation of SC/ST Organization' in 1997 and 'Lord Buddha Club'. Udit Raj got converted to Buddhism in 2001 alongside thousands of his followers.

Raj had always been a strong advocate for an increase in reservation in India for Indians belonging to underprivileged communities. In the past, Raj had formed partnerships with Christian organizations including like 'Indian Social Institute' and the 'All India Christian Council.' He had also worked in tandem with prominent Christian leaders such as John Sayal and Ambrose Pinto.

Once he was a staunch critic of BJP. However, as BJP was about fledging on the wings of victory - credit to NaMo's Achche Din Promise, he has joined BJP on February 23, 2014.

His latest tweet about the BENEFITS of Beef Consumption has created veritable confusion for the suckers and neophytes of politics. One fails to conclude if he is really encouraging the consumption of beef to gain strength and agility in sports or showing the other contrived softer side of NDA / BJP or indulging in the usual double speak.

In fact, we have become a nation whose politicians twist words into new meanings so they can lie in ways that sound truthful. It is an art of politics to create impressions with words that obscure or distort their actual meaning. Both the left and right use the deceitful tactic. They highjack words to make its ideas more acceptable. The Orwellian doublespeak gives them ability to lie and get away with it. It makes the bad seem good, and the good seem bad, it makes lies sound honest, and it casts positives in a negative light.

I don't know how many readers could recall the Popeye the Sailor, an American animated series of comedy short films created by E.C. Segar in 1933. The Segar's characters were adopted into a series of Popeye the Sailor theatrical cartoon shorts for Paramount Pictures. The plotlines in the animated cartoons were drawn between simple hero and villain prowess. The villain 'Bluto' brutally belabors the sailor Popeye until he eats SPINACH, The hero acquires superhuman strength after a pack of spinach and makes short work of the villain.

The theatrical Popeye cartoons began airing on television in an altered form in 1956 and the 'Popeye' theatrical series was discontinued. The new series 'Popeye the Sailor' were popular in the young generation of Americans.

Beef and Spinach are no substitute to rigorous exercise and disciplined life. A sportsman is not the Popeye the Sailor. For him / her, a good diet is must to get the best fitness and sports results. You need a balanced diet to increase your energy intake and fuel your training sessions. You need to eat more carbohydrate-rich foods, you will also need enough protein-rich foods to help repair and build your muscles.

You don't need the diet of politics. You need real nuts and not the nuts of politics.
