THERE ARE media reports supposedly leaked by Mumbai ATS that one of the so called accused in the Malegao Blasts case (as innovated by ATS) had plotted to kill some top RSS leaders and that the IB had known that much before. Ridiculing the claims by ATS, Dr. Pravin Togadia, International General Secretary of VHP said, "There are obvious contradictions in the claims by Mumbai ATS.

He said that if the alleged accused of Malegao blasts had plotted to kill senior RSS leaders then obviously the same accused would never caused blasts in any Muslim area. Those who are against Hindu organizations like RSS, VHP, obviously would not do anything against Islam!

Togadia said that if the IB knew that there had been such a plot of killing senior RSS leaders, then how many meetings did the  IB, NSA, PM and HM had with these leaders to brief them about the individual security risk and what security was provided to them then? It was only after the Jehadi attack on RSS head office at Nagpur, that the Nagpur police had provided the office with some scanty security but no cover had been given to these said RSS leaders whose names have been ’leaked’ by ATS. Does this mean that the government knew of the said plot and it ignored the threat intentionally so as to let the RSS leaders suffer the threat?

The VHP Leader asked what was the need now for the PM to call the Leader of Opposition picking on his one off sentence suddenly when PM never called him even when there were so many Jehadi blasts in the country killing many Hindus. What is it that the UPA and PM are hiding from the nation? Are these the reports which the arrested senior army man might have given about the nation’s security as an MI officer that are so inconvenient to the government for its vote bank? The government must make all reports given by him public.

He said that the very fact that PM is so keen and eager to send NSA and IB Director to brief the Leader of Opposition on Malegao probe itself exposes the political nexus and vested interest of UPA in the Maharashtra state’s internal law and order issue. He said that by this action, PM himself has proven the allegation that UPA has deep vested political interest in innovating the Malegao Blast probe and the political conspiracy behind it to finish Hindus to get Muslim votes. Togadia said that the various flip flops of Mumbai ATS, Haryana Police and UPA leaders’ statements have time and again proven the political nexus of UPA to the so called Malegao blasts probe.

Dr Pravin Togadia said that invoking MCOCA for all the alleged accused of Malegao blasts probe itself proves that the ATS has no evidence against the said accused and therefore they wanted to rely on the usually legally unacceptable side-issues like some creative video, some audio tape of a telephone conversation which seems to have been heard by some man sitting on both sides of the phones, some photos of public programme taken in media presence which ATS now wants to treat as a private meeting, some mobile phones, computer data which only ATS knows how to innovatively create (ATS can very well write the imaginary novel to get a Booker award next time rather than doing serious investigation without political interference as proved by the PM’s call and by NSA, IB Director’s briefing.

The VHP leader said that the same UPA revoked POTA, cancelled TADA saying that they did not want such stricter laws against terrorism because the existing IPC was enough to tackle it. He said that now the same Congress invoked MCOCA on the Hindu accused only because they do not have any evidence to their imaginary framed cases. The same Maharashtra government has promptly removed MCOCA from Abu Salem giving some foolish international excuses.

Dr Togadia further said, "All such ridiculous efforts of trying to divide Hindus and the nation by UPA have been exposed by now and the democratic reaction to such blatant lies and to the tyrannical human rights violations of the accused will be seen and felt by UPA for many years to come."

Dr Togadia demanded the immediate release of all the framed accused and the immediate apology by the PM for his open act of influencing the pre-planned investigation and also influencing the judiciary. He also demanded immediate strict action on all the officers of the ATS for torture and human rights violation. Dr Togadia also appealed to all the serving and retired armed forces to appeal to the government to treat its arrested officers with utmost respect and release them immediately with an apology from the PM for victimizing them for political purposes at the outset of Assembly and Parliament elections.
