The events include the 13-mile Half Marathon and Open Cycling Race along with the 5-mile Junior Run and Green Walkathon for school children and the public wishing to run or walk to the Finish Venue at the Polo Parking Lot. The last date for submission of registration forms is October 23.

The 5-mile Green Walkathon is planned as a community event with an environmental cause where school and college students and enthusiasts from other institutions are invited to take part. Participants will be encouraged to display costumes and fancy dresses or placards that highlight  various environmental issues that they care about.

In order to create awareness regarding the degeneration of our environment, all pit stops (fluid stations) along the route shall have posters and messages that shall highlight various aspects of our degenerated environment like air pollution, garbage management, polluted rivers and water resources, random mining and quarrying, abuse and neglect of our heritage structures among others.

Prizes worth Rs 1 lakh in the form of cash prizes, certificates and medals for the Half Marathon, Cycling Race and the Junior Run will be awarded for best costumes, placards and biggest contingent in the Green Walkathon.

The event ambassador for this Half Marathon shall be our very own marathoner, Mr Bining Lyngkhoi who has represented India in the New Delhi Commonwealth Games 2010 and is the first Indian to champion the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon for the year 2010 and 2011 and recently this year the Maulana Open National Marathon at New Delhi.

On 3rd and 4th November, the Autumn Festival promises to transcend the previous festivals by bringing in "Work of the Art" stage, Sound and Lights, LED and Laser display, the best regional and national music bands to blow you away, a food court that will play with your palate like never before, a Magic Carnival and a Kids zone to take the youngsters on a thrill ride and cultural extravaganza from the best dance troupes of the Northeast.

The North East Cultural Extravaganza showcases the Khasi and Garos Dances, Manipuri ballet dancers, Pong Cholam and Thang-Ta Martial arts display. Other performances will include the sensual Hojaigiri dance from Tripura, Snow Lion, dance from Sikkim and traditional games from Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland.

Prominent bands and musicians from the region and the country will also play on October 3 and 4.
