The Adam tablet is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 250 processor with a Dual Core Cortex A9, 1GB RAM, 8 GB of flash memory, a micoSD card slot, 3G/HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, Google Android, A-GPS with navigation maps.
The Notion Ink's Adam tablet also has a 10.1" Pixel Qi LCD display with multi-touch support and a resolution of 1024x600, and it can be used in direct sunlight in high-contrast, black and white mode. The tablet has the dimension of 158x239x14 mm, 650 gm of weight, a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus swivel camera that can capture 720p HD video and multiple ports including a full sized USB port.
It also has three cell standard batteries that support 24-hour battery life. The Adam tablet also has two loudspeakers, 3.5mm audio-jack + mic jack, built in microphone.
Users, who are using Adam 1.0 tablet, can get updates including Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), a new web browser, a new eBook app, a new music and video player, a new multi-task system, and Adobe Flash Player, and other more than 150 changes. According to reports, price of the Adam tablet will be between Rs. 19000 to Rs. 27000.
