Aspects pertaining to construction of shelters, identification of diseases in animals, making use of cow dung and urine in preparing mosquito coils, preparation of organic manure, etc. would be covered in the source said Andhra Pradesh Goshala Federation President Mahesh Agarwal at a press conferene here today.
The course would be conducted at a prime location in the third week of August. The correct date would be announced shortly. The federation is also sponsoring 10 goshalas and animal welfare organisation toattend the one month course to be conducted by goshala federation in Haridwar, he informed.
Mr. Agarwal demanded supply of free power, water, tax exemption, free medicines and veterinary care for goshalas in the state. He also urged the state government to look seriously into the request for a budget provision of Rs. 5 crores for animal welfare. It expressed disappointment at non-implementation of animal welfare acts. Federation General Secretary M.N.V.Murali Krishna, Ravinder Shekhar, Nemichand Jain were present at the press conference.
