Court reprimands HUDA for not starting road construction near Ambience mall
A petition filed against the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) took them to court on Tuesday for not starting with the project of making two separate lanes in front of Ambience Mall.

The court reprimanded them for the same as they did not compile with the Court's order issued to them on June 10. The separation of the service road and the sector road is imperative to lessen the traffic snag in front of the popular Ambience mall.

The court said, ''You didn't even submit any minutes of joint inspection carried out with the petitioner and the NHAI.'' Although HUDA had submitted their own version of reservations about the construction, yet the court did not take that into account.

As was reported by timesofindia.com, HUDA had initially said that if construction of the aforementioned lanes happen then unauthorized parking will grow. They also said, ''You can run a trial for a day or two. This is sure to cause utter chaos.'' The court wants HUDA to build two lanes on the left hand side of the sector road of the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway so that local traffic coming from Ambience Mall towards DLF Phase III and the traffic going towards Ambience Mall can be run simultaneously in opposite directions on the left side of the expressway.

The highway administration court has directed HUDA to follow its earlier directions and posted the matter for the next hearing on July 10.
