CPM makes alliance with RSS?
Will archrivals in Kerala politics, CPI (M) and RSS join hands with each other? Some rumors are doing the rounds in this regard. All these began with an article published in the RSS mouthpiece in Malayalam, Kesari.

THE ARTICLE suggests the importance and need of CPI (M) - RSS cooperation in Kerala. It says that both the organizations should forget the past and join hands for the good of Kerala. The article was written by a prominent RSS leader in Kerala, Mohandas. He has also served as the State General Secretary of Bharatiya Vichara Kendram.

Pinarayi Vijayan, the state secretary of CPI (M), ridiculed the proposal, and alleged that it was an attempt to tarnish the image of the party. ‘CPI (M) is not working for the certificate of any communal organizations’ he added.

BJP leaders in the state said that they hadn’t discussed the matter within the party so far. But such alliances against strengthening terrorism in the state are need of the hour. They asserted that it wouldn’t be a political alliance but a fraternity against the growing terrorist menace in the state.

Congress also jumped into the fray and alleged that the article revealed the relationship between CPI (M) and Sangh Parivar. "They have been helping each other for a long time. Now the relationship became public,"  V. T. Balaram, Congress MLA, said in a television interview.
