NAIL BITTING moments for almost 70,000 students, who took Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test for admission in various medical colleges across Uttar Pradesh, are finally over. The Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University declared results of the Combined Pre-medical Test (CPMT) 2009, late on Monday (June 15) night.
The CPMT examination was held on June 4 and the results were declared in just 11 days.
The university has also declared the names of five toppers. Rashmi Singh of Varanasi has topped the exam with 192 marks. Ashfaq Khan and Diwaker of Kanpur clinched the second and third rank. Both have scored 190 marks.
Fourth and fifth rank were held by Aishvarya Adhaulia, from Kanpur with 189 marks and Raies Ahmad of Bareilly with 188 marks, receptively.
UP CPMT is an examination conducted by University of Lucknow on behalf of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The examination is conducted for admission to various medical courses in Government and recognised, approved Medical, Dental, Homeopathic, Ayurvedic and Unani Colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
