Crime is attracting today's kids
The thin line between luxury and necessity no longer exists for the younger generation. For them, expensive phones, laptops and cars are as important as food, clothing and shelter. This changing scenario is pushing them towards crime.
IN TODAY'S world, kids are witnessing a very high speed of development, in terms of luxury, as compared to their parents. Children, these days, want the best for themselves in every field; whether in studies or in luxurious items such as branded cloths, cars, etc.

Demanding luxury is not a bad thing but it depends on what a child is demanding. It so happens, sometimes, that it is not possible for parents to fulfill all the demands but today’s kids do not understand the problem and throw tantrums.

They even start blaming their parents for their low purchasing powers.

In extreme cases kids also opt wrong way of crime, which provides them all the luxuries, which they want from their parents and can’t have.

The facts, show, that within the first three months of this year there have been many cases registered by the police, which are committed by kids or children of age between 10 to 16 years.

The only motive found for committing crimes by this age group was to have a luxurious life, which would contain branded cloths, big cars, watching films with friends, and going to five star hotels, etc.

In the first three months of 2011, 48 cases came to the limelight in which kids aged between 10 to 16 years were found accused of being involved in crimes such as black mailing, robbery and even murder.

Hence, we can conclude that our future generation is becoming addicted to a luxurious lifestyle, for which they do not mind committing serious or dangerous crimes.

The article is an appropriate one. Time is running out. We need to do something about it else like US school children will be trapped by drug peddlers to sell drugs to earn quick money
