The information given on H1N1 virus is based on guidelines given by World Health Organization (WHO). “Crystal Hues Limited is the first corporate body which had approached WHO seeking their advice to undertake an awareness campaign on H1N1 virus”, said Dr Khanchit Limpakarnjanarat, Regional Advisor, Communicable Disease Surveillance & Response, looking after the WHO initiative for containing H1N1 spread.
The campaign is targeted at office employees working in commercial centers by delivering exclusively designed and easy to understand information in multiple Indian languages. The unique packaging of the information in a key-ring will ensure that the information is taken by the office employees back home to their families who can read and understand the information in the language of their choice. This strategy is based on results of the research which highlighted the urgent need of homemakers and families, who are mainly responsible for health and hygiene of the family, to be targeted for creating H1N1 awareness.
