CSK wins DLF IPL T20 season 3: Latest news and details
Chennai Super Kings won the third season of DLF IPL 2010 T20 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on the night of April 25, 2010. CSK defeated host MI by 22 runs

CHENNAI SUPER Kings won the third season of DLF IPL 2010 T20 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on the night of April 25, 2010. CSK defeated host MI by 22 runs in the glorious final of the event. This was the first time CSK won the Indian Premiere League. Last year in South Africa Deccan Chargers won the title of IPL 2. 


Earlier, the forty five days long season 3 of DLF IPL T20, 40-minute long closing ceremony of was choreographed by musical maestro A R Rehman enthralled the gathering of about 55000 live audiences at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai and millions of TV viewers all over the world from his mega-hit songs Chale Chalo from the movie 'Lagaan', 'Vande Maataram' and ended with Oscar-winning song 'Jai Ho' from Slumdog Millionaire. Bollywood actress Bipasha danced on the title track of her movie 'Race' and Shahid Kapoor also shacked his legs during the glittering closing ceremony of DLF IPL 2010.

Chennai Super Kings skipper M S Dhoni won the toss in the final match of season 3 of DLF IPL T20 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai and elected to bat first. Visitors CSK scored 168 runs at the loss of five wickets in the grand final. Suresh Raina played again a good inning and scored unbeaten 57 runs just from 37 deliveries with 3 fours and 3 sixes. Murli Vijay scored 26 and skipper Dhoni scored 22 runs.

In reply Mumbai Indian lost his first wicket as Shikhar Dhawan on zero. Man in form and skipper Sachin Tendulkar played good knocks and out for 48 runs. Nayar scored 27 runs and wicketkeeper batsman Ambati Raydu run out for 21 runs. All rounder Pollard scored 27 runs in just 10 balls but the Mumbai Indians finished their innings for 148 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs and lost the chances of becoming the winner of IPL 3 by 22 runs.

How come Pollardo played at the sixth position. Is it not strange that whole game is a well planned set up. It really disappointed all Mumbaikars, especially for thos who paid more than four times of the ticket price in black to watch the match
