How many times have you actually given a thought about parking rates when you are visiting any place? Not much, because parking are supposed to be light on pocket. Although, if you are ever driving to Cyber Hub, you need to think twice before parking your car in the parking lot. The reason we are asking you to do so is because the concerned authorities will charge you a bomb when ever you give a visit to the social centre.
Cyber Hub is the brand new food and entertainment
hub located in the vicinity of DLF
Cyber City that was inaugurated few months ago. The place is always brimming with aroma of wine and dine. The parking charges might bring a change in your temperament before you step inside. The parking charges of Cyber Hub are Rs. 40 for the first four hours and Rs. 100 as every other hour passes by. This has certainly created a rage among the corporate employees and the regular visitors.
“Cyber Hub is a new and modern place in the vicinity and the parking rates are sky- high from day one. This is completely irrational and management needs to trim the rates at the earliest. I feel high rates are due to the construction of rapid metro and honestly I feel the rates will be further elevated in spite of going down”, said Sunil Agarwal, a regular visitor to Cyber Hub.
There are innumerable corporate offices in the neighbourhood of Cyber Hub and the parking charges are somewhat similar, however Cyber Hub takes the crown undoubtedly. If one is parking his/ her car for a single day, it costs up to Rs. 440 for 8 hours which ultimately adds up to Rs. 13,200 for a month.
A BOMB indeed. When we asked the parking authorities about the same, they simply refused to comment anything except they feel it's a management decision and they are powerless.
“Firstly, I don't have to really worry about the parking since I commute through public transport and secondly medium class working employees cannot afford such an expense. Moreover, if you take my opinion it is indeed very expensive parking if we compare it to other places in Gurgaon,” said Manoj Sharma who travels by Delhi Metro to work.
Even though the parking charges are soaring, one can easily notice the packed parking lot over the weekends which simply proves that Gurgaonities are willing to shell out cash with an intention to have a good time. Cyber Hub is a proof that how the living standard of Gurgaon citizens has elevated in the last few years.
