Cyberabad SOT arrests man who allegedly posed as Chairman of National Consumer Rights
The sleuths of SOT Malkajgiri Zone, Cyberabad on credible information arrested an accused person who is illegally posing himself as Chairman of National Consumer Rights Commission, Founder Chairman of All India Anti Corruption, YSR Abhaya, B4U Channel News Incharge, Member of Regional State Film & Television Development Chamber and also carrying the ID card of DSP, CID and thereby luring innocent public and extorting money from them.

The brief facts of the case are that SOT Malkajgiri Zone, East Cyberabad received credible information that Munagala Venkata Laxmi Nageshwar Rao residing in Shivapuri Colony, Malkajgiri is posing himself as Chairman of National Consumer Rights Commission and recruiting members into the State bodies and district bodies by collecting Rs.1500/- for membership fee and Rs.5000/- for life time membership.

He was successful in luring one person K.Nagaraju in Gandhinagar, Kapra and made him incharge of Telangana state and issued ID card in the name of Commission to him.

He asked him to recruit a full fledged body for the Telangana state and also bodies at district level by collecting Rs.1,500/- as initial membership fees. He promised him that once the full fledged state body is formed, they can take up the consumer issues and earn huge money.

According to a release issued by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, SOT, East Cyberabad, the accused Nageshwar Rao formed a trust and got it registered at New Delhi with an amount of Rs.5,000/- stating that NGO organizations National Consumer Right Commission and All India Anti Corruption Commissions will be floated.
