REALITY TV is all about reality albeit in most unreal way. Latest idea in this season of flooded reality shows from music, dance to finding a life partner is now terrorism. What else could have been better than cashing in the fear psychosis and spirit of survival.

You are right it is terrorism. In one such reality show, which is going to be broadcast on UTV Bindaas the participants will be trained to be commandos to combat terrorism. Sounds cool.

'D3 Commando force:Dadgiri Against Terrorism' is a new upcoming reality show, which will train 14 participants in spartan environment devoid of luxuries. The participants will undergo a grueling training which will include waterborne and airborne warfare, hostage rescue and sharp shooting.

Well, it will work out well in TRP charts or not? It would be too early to guess. But it is for sure that it will try to generate nationalistic sentiments hidden under the fear psychosis.

Terror attacks attracts immediate attention of viewers, that is a reality but a program based on such theme will generate similar sentiment or not is speculative in nature. Earlier trend, although not from small screen, shows that this kind of story does have an mpact on viewers.

But Business Head of the channel, Nikhil Gndhi says it is less business and more passion. He adds, “ The26/11 attacks, German Bakery blast have led us to think about how to overcome the rampant acts of terror and D3 Commando force is our answer. It's about passion and TRP is not the thing.”

Business apart, falling in the line of Business Head's argument, if it is not going to rock the TRP chart then it will take the same fate as country is passing through, more and more terror attacks but no respite.

d3 is very nice & youthprmoting show i have never seen such a good show . reality show's main aim to earn money through sms but this show is not about money but love &dedication of youth for nation
