THEATRE PERSONALITY Dame Edna and Michael Feinstein, who currently starring in the Broadway musical All About me, are on the talk show The View at 10:00 AM KABC today.
All About Me stars Barry Humphries in his signature stage personna Dame Edna Everage, simply known as Dame Edna, an audacious Australian housewife, alongside singer and pianist Michael Feinstein. While Feinstein brings out his talented voice to the forte with the show, while Dame Edna, in her purple styled coif and matching ruffled dress, croons along, delighting the audience.
The 90 minute broadway show is based on the premise that the two stars don't know they are performing together. After an arguement and ego clash, the stage manager convinces them to perform togerher. The must catch numbers include Michael Feinstein performing the Rodgers and Hart tune My Romance apart from songs like "What Did I Have That I Don't Have?" and "A Lot of Livin' to Do."
Dame Edna, is known to engage with the audience and doesn't disappoint in this Broadway performance All About me. She questions them, creating laughs alongside the main performance. Her signature flowers, the gladiolas also get a mention.
