A lot many bollywood celebrities have taken over the samll screen in the recent past and one more name gets added to the bandwagon. This time it would be Rani Mukherjee who would be seen as a judge on Sony's Dance Premier League (DPL) along with actor Arshad Warsi and choroegrapher Shaimak Davar.
The show will be aired on every Friday and Saturday at 8pm. Rani will be called the Queen of DPL and will judge and decide the fortunes of the competing teams. Dance guru Shaimak Davar, the umpire on the show will evaluate the performances and set the difficulty level as the competition progresses. Actor Arshad Warsi will be seen as the guest judge for the auditions.Teams for different zones across the country, as well as a team of NRI's would be competitng with each other. India's rich and diverse culture is expected to be highlighted as each regional team will try to bring its own unique flavor to their performances.
Each zone will have eight dancers and will have individual chroegraphers like Pappu Malu, Nagendra Prasad, Uma-Gaiti, Harshall-Vitthal, Mini Johny and Howard Rosemeyer who will be donning the role of mentors.Eijaz Khan and Sara Khna will be the host of the reality show, produced by cineyug. The show has also ben backed by superstars and celebrities like Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Sohail Khan, Kapil Dev, Sanjay Bangar, Anil Kumble, Baichung Bhutia and rapper Hard Kaur.
