Dangerous diets you should avoid
Nowadays, weight loss has became a compulsion for people. Many of us find different ways to lose weight and expect immediate results out of it. One of the reasons behind this is laziness, and it has lead to so many diet fad that promise to reduce a significant amount of weight in very little time. Such kind of diet plans are considered as 'dangerous diets', as they take weight reduction to excessive levels. This makes our health and body worse, and you should always avoid them. In this article we will look at some of the dangerous diets.

THE FIRST one that comes into this category is 'Bretharian diet', and it is also known as 'inedia'. It is basically a branch of Hinduism that believes that food and water are not at all that necessary to live because everything we eat is excreted in the form of urine or feces. They also say that most of the illnesses are caused by eating, hence fasting is the most efficient healing tool. They even feel that eating does not provide energy to the body, instead it uses the energy in decomposing, neutralizing and excreting the food. However, it is a useless concept in daily life, this has no proven good results and many people have died attempting it.

The second one is 'Tapeworm diet' where an actual tapeworm is ingested into the human body, they attach to the human intestinal tract and act as a parasite, and feed off the food that a person eats. If you swallow a tapeworm in the cyst form, then it grows inside your body until it reaches the end of the digestive tract. The worm then comes out of the system automatically or some medicine is given to the dieter to make the tapeworm to come out of the body. It is believed that the worm will help in losing one or two pounds a week. But, it is very horrible and can be very dangerous. It is illegal in countries like the United States.

Next is 'Cabbage soup diet,' which is a seven-day diet plan. In this diet as the name says, you will have only cabbage soup and nothing else for an entire week. As cabbage is a high-fiber diet, with low fat, it will help you get into shape. However, nutritionists slam this diet as most of the weight loss is water and not fat, hence you will put on those kilos once again.

Our body needs all sort of food to work efficiently, so it is not recommended to have such kinds of diet plans. Try to get a good diet plan, designed by an expert dietitian, which is supplemented by a good exercise, reported 'Indiainteracts'.
