David Cameron is once again British Prime Minister
Sitting British Prime Minister David Cameron's Conservative Party has swept to victory by reaching beyond the needed number by winning 329 for an overall majority to form the first 'Conservative-only Government' since 1997.
However, the elections have also seen the emergence of pro-independence Scottish National Party (SNP) as a new political force to reckon.

Among total 650 seats in the House of Commons SNP has won 56 seats. The Labour Party has won 232 seats. With emergence of SNP, Labour Party has ben virtually wiped out in Scotland.

However, the challenge of keeping the UK together as one nation is looming large and all Conservative MPs would be required attend the House of Commons for every vote to withstand the combined forces of opposition.

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has congratulated British Prime Minister, David Cameron, on the victory of his Conservative Party in British General Election, saying, "Congratulations David Cameron. As you rightly pointed out- it's 'Phir Ek Baar, Cameron Sarkar!' My best wishes."
