The TRS Chief, after his meeting with the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Monday evening stated that the Telangana impasse may deepen if a conclusion is not reached upon soon.
THE TELANGANA agitation intensified in Andhra Pradesh with various incidents being reported from Hyderabad and other coastal regions of the trouble-torn state. On Monday, at least forty buses, all privately operated, fell prey to the agitation as the sakala janula samme caught momentum.

Several passengers and some police officers on duty were said to have received injuries as the agitators started pelting stone at the buses. In the process, the police too launched a lathi charge that left many of the agitators injured. However, as the situation subsided, the police arranged for the buses to move in a cluster of 10 to 20 buses each.
It may be mentioned that the agitation has entered its 22nd day with no possible signs of entering into a truce despite sakala janula samme chief K Chandrashekhar Rao holding talks with the Centre. After a meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh at 7 Race Course Road and hinted that the Centre is in for more trouble if an agreement is not reached upon. The Times of India quoted KCR saying that the prime minister understood the intensity and urgency and sensitivities of the people, but there is no clear cut promise from the prime minister.
