IN THE death of Bhaironsingh Shekhawat, the nation has lost a distinguished personality who commanded respect and influence of leaders in different political parties alike. It was clear when he got much more than calculated votes in his election as country’s Vice President. Even though he could get absolute majority on basis of votes of parties openly supporting him, he was able to get appreciable number of votes from opposition camps too.
