Defy me and pay the price: Mamata's message to police
Mahasweta Devi is disillusioned with Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal and her..

MAHASWETA DEVI was one of the intellectuals who had spoken very highly of Mamata Banerjee when she was gathering support from all quarters to boot out the CPM-led left front government from power in West Bengal.

Before the assembly elections, Mamata used to always go out of her way to please one and all but, after assuming the office of the Chief Minister, she has changed. The decisions that she is taking have certainly not endeared her to those who held her in high esteem. In fact, she is gradually losing her support base.

The ban on certain newspapers is seen by many as a step towards putting in place all those who are critical of her. In today’s world of advanced technology and with the TV network reaching out into the farthest corners to collect news, it is next to impossible to keep any news under wraps.

Obviously, those involved in politics should always be wary and careful of what they speak, how they behave in public, and the message they are trying to give out. They must not be arrogant.

Apart from this ban on newspapers, another action of Banerjee has drawn flak from all quarters – that is the transfer of a lady police officer Damayanti Sen IPS who had been involved in solving the infamous Park Street rape case.

Sen had dared to cross swords with the Chief Minister and has paid the price. She has been transferred from being the Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime, to Barrackpore Police Training School as DIG Training.

Banerjee has taught her a lesson – defy me and you will be punished, is what she wanted to convey to the police force.

Thanks for discussing your ideas with this blog. In aditoidn, a fable regarding the finance institutions intentions any time talking about foreclosures is that the bank will not take my installments. There is a degree of time in which the bank will take payments occasionally. If you are far too deep in the hole, they are going to commonly demand that you pay the payment fully. However, that doesn't mean that they will have any sort of repayments at all. Should you and the lender can be capable to work anything out, the foreclosure approach may stop. However, if you continue to miss out on payments beneath new approach, the property foreclosure process can pick up from where it was left off.

The way Mamata Banerjee is working it seems there is no progress is going to be in West Bengal After almost one year of her reign in the state there is no development work crime is as it is Her party supporters are behaving like goons Her decision to ban certain newspapers in libraries is very ridiculous in a democratic country She should lure industries travel and money and job operating means in the state in-spite of ban of certain newspapers in the library She must care of law and order development in the state in place of politics that she played with Dinesh Trivedi
