LIBERATED IN mind and liberated in body, so say the young women of Karachi in Pakistan. These liberated Muslim women, discarded the traditional Burqa and ignored the warnings of the Taliban as well as the archaic views of Mullahs in Masjids, to walk up and down the ramp in an elegant fashion show, held in the elite Marriott hotel of Karachi.

The fashion week, which has instantaneously become a success, is a show of non-traditional women's dresses. Though the organisers of the fashion week, on receipt of threats from Islamist terrorists, had postponed it by a month, the event has proved the acceptability of fashionable attire in Pakistan.

Indeed, the Fashion Week in Karachi has just begun. It won't be wise to say that the orthodox Muslim clergy and the Taliban, have faded into oblivion. They are still around and just waiting for the opportune moment to strike. Still, the women do not mind the threat, while they glamorously walk the ramp in their designer attire.

Thus, the Muslim women of Karachi, have proved to the world that, now they stand liberated in mind, body and soul, thanks to the fashion week and its symbol, the ramp.

AUM.Ahmed Ji, thanks for reading and commenting. I wonder why must you use the wordïmbecile"for someone when an intellectual discussion is called for. Does it display lack of ideas to continue conversation. If the Muslim women of Karachi are walking on the ramp in a fashion parade much against the diktat of the Taliban terrorists, there is not much that Shri Ahmad or others like him can do about it. The times are changing. Olease march with the Time lest the Time leaves men with archaic ideas behind. Cheers.

Lberated, Muslim women don't need to bare all to feel liberated ! They feel liberated from the consumerism and capitalistic deception by donning the Hijab. You imbecile.
