Delhi Daredevils and Kochi Tuskers Kerala desperate to win
Both Delhi and Kochi are playing their eighth match in the on-going IPL 2011. Virender Sehwag-led Delhi has won two matches and lost five matches, whereas Mahela Jayawardena-led Kochi team has won three matches and lost four matches in the IPL 2011.
BOTH KOCHI Tuskers Kerala and Delhi Daredevils are desperate to win in the 36th match of the Indian Premier League T-20 match at the Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Saturday, April 30. Kochi Tuskers and Daredevils teams are at the eighth and tenth spot in the points table.

Kochi Tuskers Kerala, which is playing its first season in the Indian Premier League, lost first two matches of the tournament. But the team came back in the tournament and won next three matches against Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.

In the next two matches against Rajasthan Royals and Deccan Chargers, Kochi team lost by eight wickets and 55 runs respectively. In the last match against Deccan Chargers, Kochi team was all out for 74 runs in 16.3 overs. Seven of Kochi Tuskers batsmen were returned to the pavilion on duck.

Until now, IPL 2011 is like a horror dream for Delhi Daredevils. Delhi's batsmen are inconsistent in all seven matches. In one match the team were all out for 95 runs and in one match scored 231 runs. Delhi's bowling has looked without rhythm with Delhi's bowlers returning only 32 batsmen to the pavilion in seven matches.

Daredevils' openers Virender Sehwag and David Warner are the pillar of team's batting. David Warner is the leading run-getter for his team and Venugopal Rao is Delhi's second-highest run-scorer in this season. However, captain Sehwag's strike-rate of 168 is the highest for batsmen with at least 200 runs in the IPL 2011.

It will be interesting to see this evening who will perform like a winner. All the eyes will be on Virender Sehwag, David Warner, Venugopal Rao, Morne Morkel and Irfan Pathan from Delhi Daredevils and Mahela Jayawardena, Brendon McCullum, Brad Hodge, Ravindra Jadeja and RP Singh from Kochi Tuskers.
